Dr. Debashis Chatterjee
Dr Debashis Chatterjee is a senior consultant psychiatrist based in Kolkata. After obtaining MBBS from Calcutta University, he did post-graduation from NIMHANS, Bangalore (DPM) and CIP, Ranchi (MD). Still later he did PhD from Jadavpur University.
He is in psychiatry practice in Kolkata for last over 35 years and has accumulated vast experience in dealing with most mental health problems.
Dr Chatterjee is founder member of NGOs Anjali (rights based approach to mental health) and Iswar Sankalpa (caring for homeless mentally ill in the streets of Kolkata.
Dr Chatterjee is a teacher in the course Diploma in Psychological Counseling & Personal Growth conducted under aegis of National Council of Education Bengal.
